Design + Make Fellowship

2020

As a Design + Make Fellow at Haverford in 2020, I gained valuable experience working and learning remotely with a small team and the non-profit group e-NABLE as we designed 3D-printed hand prosthetics for a man living in Philadelphia. I learned about the design process, from prototyping and iteration to digital fabrication and final presentation to stakeholders. Through this process, I developed my ability to manage my time as I worked  and learned independently at home during the pandemic. During weekly meetings with the instructors and two other fellows, I also learned the value of giving and receiving criticism and feedback.

Final poster for my prosthetic design created using Adobe Creative Suite software with Fusion 360 renderings
